Frequently asked questions
Is this for real? Did you really just invent a holiday so you can eat turkey again?
Well… yeah. If Hallmark can co-opt an ancient fertility festival and call it a holiday so they can sell cards and heart shaped candy, we feel good about making a holiday so we can eat more turkey.
What should I do to celebrate Springsgiving?
Celebrating Springsgiving is an excuse to bring back any Thanksgiving traditions you want. We like Turkey, so that’s our focus. You may prefer just eating pie. Or mashed potatoes. Celebrate with friends and family or just hang around the house saying you’re celebrating. It’s up to you! We do suggest that you take a moment to be grateful for Spring and all that it brings. And be nice (our mom made us write that).
What happened to Tiny Tina and Turkey Tom? Were they… eaten?!?!
Um. No comment.

What the @#$%? Who created this thing?
We are a family of four, living in Seattle. We enjoy eating and sharing good food with friends and family. We totally made this @$%# up.
Exactly when is Springsgiving?
Although historians debate the exact date of the first Springsgiving, we believe the appropriate time to celebrate is 6 months after the more popular holiday “Thanksgiving,” in May. We encourage you to celebrate Springsgiving at your convenience. After all, Springsgiving is less a specific day and more a state of being.
